Location: This position is based in Washington, D.C.
Position Information:
- This role is open to mid-level associates (3 to 5 years of experience) or a Counsel (non-partnership track).
Key Requirements:
- Broad experience advising government contractors regarding federal and state contract and regulatory compliance issues
- Drafting and negotiating contracts/teaming agreements with subcontractors and suppliers performing on government contracts
- Experience assisting clients with bid protests
- Counseling clients on claims and disputes involving government contracts, including preparing and prosecuting requests for equitable adjustment and claims
- Advising clients on corporate transactions and assisting with corporate due diligence requirements
- Strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school (U.S. JD required)
Additional Skills:
- Excellent communication and writing skill
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of Virginia state court practice and procedure is preferred
