Job Summary: We are fortunate to have several esteemed clients seeking talented Privacy Associates for diverse roles. Opportunities range from Privacy Litigation to Cyber and Incident Response specialization, as well as roles centered around Privacy Advisory services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing privacy policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct privacy risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating risks.
- Advise internal stakeholders on privacy-related legal issues, including data sharing agreements, consent mechanisms, and data subject rights.
- Assist in responding to data subject requests and privacy incidents, including conducting investigations and preparing reports.
- Stay informed about developments in privacy laws and regulations and provide updates to the privacy team and relevant stakeholders.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Law degree and admission to the bar in relevant jurisdiction.
- 3-7 years of experience in privacy or data protection law, preferably in a legal or compliance role.
- Ideally, candidates with experience at leading law firms known for their exceptional privacy practices.
- Strong knowledge of privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
