Our client, a globally respected law firm, is seeking a Staff Counsel to join their team in Dallas, Texas. This role is perfect for an attorney with experience in insurance commercial litigation who is eager to make an impact in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Compensation:
$115,000 to $145,000 based on experience and market factors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage written discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production and requests for admissions
- Prepare motions, briefs, and pleadings in compliance with court rules and deadlines
- Conduct depositions, prepare summaries, and analyze testimony to develop case strategy
- Review legal documents and conduct research to support case outcomes and strategy
Qualifications:
- Active member in good standing with the Texas State Bar (U.S. JD required)
- At least 3+ years of experience in insurance commercial litigation
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to provide occasional after-hours and weekend support when needed
