The Role:
Our client, a well-respected law firm, is looking for a talented bankruptcy associate to become a key member of their litigation team based in New York City. What We’re Looking For:
- 2-4 years of experience in bankruptcy law; additional experience in general litigation is advantageous.
- Strong background in drafting pleadings, motions, conducting discovery, attending court hearings in federal, state, and bankruptcy courts, negotiating settlements, and interacting with opposing counsel and clients.
- Preferably experienced in creditors’ rights law, including knowledge of asset recovery, the Uniform Commercial Code (with a focus on Articles 2, 2A, and 9), equipment leasing, and commercial finance law.
- Proven skills in depositions and managing cases effectively.
- A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree or equivalent with solid academic performance.
- Admission to the New York Bar (or steps in progress to become admitted) is required. Admission to the New Jersey Bar is an additional advantage.

Compensation:
- The annual base salary range for this position is $230,000 to $255,000.
