We are excited to announce an opening for a Finance associate to join our client’s esteemed Global Transportation team, located in one of the following offices: Chicago, New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, or Miami. Their cohesive and collaborative team operates within a diverse and multidisciplinary practice, offering direct involvement with shareholders, business development initiatives, and client interactions. Their firm prioritizes career development and upholds a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
The Global Transportation Finance Group at their firm has consistently achieved nationwide recognition, earning a Band 1 ranking by Chambers USA for fifteen consecutive years. As a member of this team, you will collaborate with over 60 legal professionals representing prominent institutions such as banks, leasing companies, airlines, hedge funds, private equity firms, and other investors. You will engage in a broad spectrum of complex international and domestic transactions, focusing on the financing, leasing, acquisition and disposition, restructuring, and enforcement of aviation, rail, maritime, and general equipment assets.
Candidate Profile:
- 2-7 years of transactional experience at a reputable law firm
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: securitization, leveraged finance, secured lending, capital markets, private equity, project finance, structured finance, real estate finance, or aviation
- Proficiency in contract drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters concurrently
- J.D. degree (or equivalent) with strong academic credentials and admission in (and in good standing with) or actively pursuing admission in the relevant jurisdiction
